FSSC22000: Global Food Safety Certification

FSSC 22000 is an internationally recognized certification for food safety management systems, designed to ensure the production and supply of safe, high-quality food products. The certification focuses on key areas such as Hazard Analysis and Risk Management, Prerequisite Programs (PRPs) to maintain hygiene and environmental control, Food Fraud and Defence, and Allergen Management. Built on ISO standards and recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), FSSC 22000 demonstrates our commitment to meeting the highest standards in food packaging safety, quality, and compliance across our operations.

ISO 9001 Quality Management System

A Quality Management System helps improve the overall performance of the company and provides a sound basis for sustainable development initiatives.
We have documented policies and procedures in place which enable us to consistently provide quality products and services that meet customer requirements.
Our practices include the principles of Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle, ensuring processes are adequately resourced and managed, and opportunities for improvement are identified and acted on. Having a continuous improvement mindset helps facilitate opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction.
As part of our management system, we address risks & opportunities for the Business and provide professional quality resources to assist in meeting the company’s quality objectives.

ISO 14001 Environmental Management System

An integrated Environmental Management System provides a framework that helps protect the environment and allows us to respond to changing environmental conditions.
As part of certification, objectives and targets and mechanisms for reviewing environmental performance and improvement are identified and monitored.
It helps build success over the long term and create options for contributing to sustainable development by preventing or mitigating adverse environmental impacts as a result of Business operations. This includes minimising energy and water consumption and reduction of waste.
Our environmental mindset influences the way products are manufactured, distributed & disposed of using a life cycle perspective.

HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)

HACCP is a systematic, preventative approach to food safety. Certification to HACCP standards assures the consistent delivery of safe products, suitable for use within the Food Industry.
Hazard analysis is undertaken to assess the risk to product at critical points within the manufacturing process (from raw material receipt to final product). Controls to mitigate these risks are then implemented into our processes to ensure the product is safe, and to a high-quality standard.

ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety

ISO 45001 provides an internationally-recognized framework for managing occupational health and safety risks. It enables organizations to systematically assess hazards and implement risk control measures, leading to reduced workplace injuries, illnesses and incidents.
Adopting the standard shows employees and external stakeholders that the organization is committed to worker health, safety and wellbeing. This boosts reputation, morale and retention.
The standard requires complying with OH&S regulations, ensuring legal conformity. It also promotes proactive risk management, potentially lowering insurance premiums.
By requiring emergency preparedness and response protocols, ISO 45001 strengthens organizational resilience against safety threats and crises.

APCO (Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation)

APCO is a not for profit organisation that partners with Government and industry to reduce the environmental impact of packaging. It aims to encourage businesses to design more sustainable packaging, increase recycling rates and reduce packaging waste to landfill.
Our membership with APCO allows us to look at our product from a life-cycle perspective and promote sustainable packaging designs.

FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) Certification

Certification with FSC® allows us to contribute to sustainable and responsible forest management.
Chain of Custody (CoC) ensures that FSC® certified material is tracked through the production process, from forest to consumer, including all successive stages in between.
It allows our customers to purchase material that is certified to have originated from sustainably managed forests.
Using FSC® certified material supports environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable management of the world’s forests.

PEFC (Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification)

PEFC is an international non-profit, non-government organisation promoting sustainable forest management through independent third-party certification.

Certification with PEFC allows us to contribute to sustainable and responsible forest management, and allows our customers to purchase material that is certified to have originated from sustainably managed forests.
Using PEFC certified material supports environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of the world’s forests.
