At Jacpak, Quality and the Environment are at the core of everything we do.  We operate to the highest standards to maintain consistency and reliability, to ensure customer satisfaction.  Our focus on the Environment makes sure we are doing our part to achieve a sustainable society.  Our commitment to Quality and the Environment is demonstrated by the accreditations we hold with the relevant certifying bodies below.

  • HACCP is a systematic, preventative approach to food safety. Certification to HACCP standards assures the consistent delivery of safe products, suitable for use within the Food Industry.
  • Hazard analysis is undertaken to assess the risk to product at critical points within the manufacturing process (from raw material receipt to final product). Controls to mitigate these risks are then implemented into our processes to ensure the product is safe, and to a high-quality standard.

APCO (Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation)

  • APCO is a not for profit organisation that partners with Government and industry to reduce the environmental impact of packaging. It aims to encourage businesses to design more sustainable packaging, increase recycling rates and reduce packaging waste to landfill.
  • Our membership with APCO allows us to look at our product from a life-cycle perspective and promote sustainable packaging designs.
  • An integrated Environmental Management System provides a framework that helps protect the environment and allows us to respond to changing environmental conditions.
  • As part of certification, objectives and targets and mechanisms for reviewing environmental performance and improvement are identified and monitored.
  • It helps build success over the long term and create options for contributing to sustainable development by preventing or mitigating adverse environmental impacts as a result of Business operations. This includes minimising energy and water consumption and reduction of waste.
  • Our environmental mindset influences the way products are manufactured, distributed & disposed of using a life cycle perspective.
  • A Quality Management System helps improve the overall performance of the company and provides a sound basis for sustainable development initiatives.
  • We have documented policies and procedures in place which enable us to consistently provide quality products and services that meet customer requirements.
  • Our practices include the principles of Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle, ensuring processes are adequately resourced and managed, and opportunities for improvement are identified and acted on. Having a continuous improvement mindset helps facilitate opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • As part of our management system, we address risks & opportunities for the Business and provide professional quality resources to assist in meeting the company’s quality objectives.
  • Certification with FSC® allows us to contribute to sustainable and responsible forest management.
  • Chain of Custody (CoC) ensures that FSC® certified material is tracked through the production process, from forest to consumer, including all successive stages in between.
  • It allows our customers to purchase material that is certified to have originated from sustainably managed forests. 
  • Using FSC® certified material supports environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable management of the world’s forests.
  • FSC® certified material is available on request.
  • PEFC is an international non-profit, non-government organisation promoting sustainable forest management through independent third-party certification.
  • Certification with PEFC allows us to contribute to sustainable and responsible forest management, and allows our customers to purchase material that is certified to have originated from sustainably managed forests.
  • Using PEFC certified material supports environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of the world’s forests.
  • PEFC certified material is available on request.
